Thank You to everyone for your kind words after my last post. I really appreciate it!

Got an extra dose of cuteness tonight from Thing One. (Btw, I have decided to refer to the children as The Cat In the Hat, Thing One and Thing Two. Dr. Suess has more than a few good ideas!) I was drying her hair and . . .

E: "My eyes is almost blind."

Me: "Why's that?"

E: "Because I be poking 'em every day."

And then several minutes later . . .

E: "My nose gets so dry with me sneezing with it every day."

I enjoy her improper grammer soooo much. Eventually we'll work on that, but for now it's too much fun.

i love it too. my brother blogged on his son's improper grammer and mis-use/misunderstanding of verbs, or something.
i find it interesting how little ones seem to get it right at first (very young), but then as their brains start "learning", they forget what was right and misunderstand it to make it wrong. it is cute. it is weird. but i guess that's part of how these wonderful brains work. it doesn't help that english just doesn't make sense in a lot of ways either! it's a rule-breaking language!!!!!
