Last night the girls and I were lucky enough to get in to see "Beauty and the Beast" at the last minute. It was free and we found out about it just a few hours before. It was awesome, but we had to leave at intermission because Allie was falling asleep. Surprisingly, Em was wide awake (and shaking her pigtails like mad to the music). The actors and actresses all were amazing vocalists.
I worried the girls might be afraid during the scene with the wolves but they seemed to do just fine. They loved Mrs. Potts and Chip and Lumiere and all the rest of the characters in the castle. I was just happy to see Be Our Guest before we left.
So my question for any readers today is . . . what plays/musicals have you been to and what was your favorite?

I haven't been to too many but we saw one a few years ago in Disney California where they played trumpets and it was like "Stomp" kind of - it was amazing! That was an amazing live musical to go to.
Garrett and I saw Beauty and the Beast for our one year dating anniversary and also in Disney World on our honeymoon. It is my favorite play...I love it!
What a fun evening. I have always wanted to see the play because it is one of my favorite Disney movies.
Dad & I saw the Lion King somewhere on our travels and then of course, the Brer Rabbit plays at Disneyworld (not my favorite--like Allie, I was falling asleep)! Our favorite is when we went to the dinner theatre in Minneapolis & saw Annie. We thought of you all through it, Kimberly, since that was your first movie in a theatre & you FELL IN LOVE with it. We still have your record. Maybe the girls & I can listen to it together. If it's this long, does it need to be a separate email? :)
