I don't think anyone reads this anymore. Not even my mom. (How sad is that!) Oh, well, just in case anybody's out there . . .
My brilliant husband (who, as you can see if you scroll down, scored very high on that IQ test) has decided that now he DOES need to go to a doctor about his ankle. He thinks it might be broken. Imagine that! Okay, I know I shouldn't be mean, but seriously. Wouldn't it be so much better if he had just listened to his wife? :)
Enough about that. I also have to rant about road construction for a while. I don't think it's possible to leave our home and drive ANYWHERE right now without going through a construction zone. I do appreciate that we are getting better roads, but please. Do they all have to be worked on at the same time? At least while sitting in construction it gives me quality time to visit with the kids. Here was a little bit of a conversation we had:
me: Emmie, what is your favorite animal?
allison: Ooh, ask me! Ask me!
emmie: Bah Bo
me: Doggy? Is that it?
allison: I have a favorite animal!
emmie: No. Bah Bo
me: Okay. Bah Bo. Allie, what's your favorite animal?
allison: A giraffe, a lion, an elephant, a tiger, and a girl dinosaur.
me: A girl dinosaur?
allison: yes
I love my kids.

I pop in here every couple of days :)
Hmmm...a broken ankle? I wouldn't be surprised.
And, what a sweet conversation with your girls. Did you ever figure out what a Bah bo was?
I still check in. :)
Kayla used to have to have everything she played with or drew be a girl. It's so funny.
Hope Ethan gets his ankle looked at soon so it can heal!
Kimberly...
I really enjoy your blog!! I feel like I am getting to know you all. I like hearing about your adventures with your children. I sometimes have a bit of jealousy, because you have the blessing of being mom as your full time job! Definietly a FULL TIME job. I bet it is wonderful... you are doing a great! Keep up the good work!!

No way my ankle is broken. I can walk on it just fine, I just can't run, jump, swim, twist, walk fast, get out of bed, stand on one foot, squat or skip. No big deal...
To my precious son-in-law: Get your ankle fixed before it heals wrong & you have to have surgery!! It's nothing to mess with. And to my dear daughter, thank you for sharing the wonderful stories and phrases the girls say. I think Emmie was saying "Dog" because that has been her favorite forever!
