Now that I'm actually capable of writing about something other than my health (which I know has been extremely fascinating -- haha), I have to share a couple moments from this week.
We went to the library and Allie picked out a book from the older children's section. I tried to talk her out of it; told her there weren't any pictures, etc. But she was adamant. She had to check it out. The book is titled "Redwall" and is by Brian Jacques. Apparently he is a really popular author (with older kids). Anyway, Allie insisted that she was going to read it. I told her we could read it together and she said, "That's okay too, mom, but I want to read it in bed after you tuck me in." It has 333 pages! Silly goose. I've seen her up in her bunk trying to read it the last couple of nights.
Yesterday the kids and I went on a field trip to KTSY with our homeschool group. As you can see from this picture, they were just overjoyed to learn all about a radio station.
I asked them when we were done what they thought, and they were like, "It was great mom! We really liked it!" Hmm . . .
Next week they will be on the air sometime doing the pledge of allegiance with the other kids. (I'm so proud! just kidding)

Praise the Lord!! That is such an answer to prayer. And I'm sure a HUGE relief to you and your family. Thank you for sharing the results with us and giving us the opportunity to pray with you through this time. God is good!
