We are up to our ears in moving boxers. Boxes, I mean.
Here's how packing with my kids has been going. I put five books in the box. Ryan takes out seven. While I find something else for him to do, the girls decide to make a fort out of the neat stack of boxes up against the wall. I explain that we still need to walk through the house. They don't understand. Then I look at the clock and realize we're late for ballet. I grab my purse and hurry the kids to the car. When I discover no keys in my purse, I ask the girls, "Where's mommy's keys?" and they reply, "Oh, Ryan was putting them in the box that you were packing." Aaaaghh! So it's five minutes of frantically ripping neat strips of tape off three boxes, looking for keys.
I will never move again.

you poor thing. i've never moved WITH kids (at least not with one
OUT of the belly :O) this too shall pass and it will be worth every aching, key loosing, late for a date moment!!! hang in there.

i'm so glad you finally get to move! it's so stressful but once it's over it will be soooo worth it.
Ugh! I too hate moving! Maddy was only a year old when we moved and that was tough enough, can't imagine doing it with 3 kiddos.
Where are you guys moving to? I assume it's not the same plan you talked about at ladies retreat?
Yeah, I am asuming that it is still to Greyhawk!? Liz mentioned something about a home that is already done. I am in the same boat, getting rid of things we don't want and packing the rest. It would be going much faster if I wasn't constantly interupted with the kids but we will manage. When is your big move in date?
Ok, I'm with the others. Is your house done or are you moving somewhere else? Fill us in!

BTW I left my big spoons @ your house if you happen to find them let me know. don't worry about searching for them, i will survive w/o them!
Don't even get me started on the topic of moving. I've done way more moving than anyone I know, well except my parents. With kids, not cool either. I usually found myself doing most of the packing at night and into the weeee hours of the morning. Good luck in the move though!
