Thank you to everyone for being so kind and encouraging. I'm thinking there's a possibility that I may be back in the hospital later today, so I'm going to get a blog post in here while I can!

I'm wondering if any of you smart ladies out there have a bit of advice. We have had our current home phone number for six years now, yet we regularly get calls for someone named Candice Waldren. It's always collecters calling too. Grrr. This morning I explained again that there is NOT a Candice at this phone number and to please not call us again. We took caller id off a while back to save a little bit of money, so I never know who it's going to be.
Anyone know if there's a way to stop these calls?

oh kimberly...i sympathize! when we lived downtown, we had collectors calling for a guy..can't remember the name now but over and over again they would call. not sure how to make them stop. wish that i had some better advice. and hang in there girlie. so sorry that you are so sick. got to see your cute boy for a few moments today. jen stopped by to borrow a hat for him. he is so dang cute!! take care.
We've had the same problem, for a couple of people. IT's very annoying, especially when it's an automated call, and I wait until the end to say that person isn't at our number, it doesn't remove our number from their list. I've even pretended to be that person just so i could actually talk to someone and tell them they've got the wrong number. Still didn't work. Wish I knew what else to do. I hope you get feeling better. When we get back to Boise I'd love to come help out, in any way that I can, even if it is to clean the toilet!
i think it's ironic that the name is candice/kandis... we get calls for liz (tucker).
i hope you steered clear of the hospital. i keep waiting for your call during the day. don't forget me! i'm so willing to help out if i can.
love ya.

one thing might help is to sign up for the government no call list. it is free and you wont get telemarketers. the only thing i can think of is get an answering machine and screen your calls.
