12 Weeks: Day 7
Cyber Monday. Kind of boring around here today. I started thinking about Isaac last night and really had trouble getting to sleep. I'm just a few rooms down the hall from where he was born, and now that I'm learning more about how everything works around here I started thinking about where he went when he wasn't in the room with us, etc. I still think of what it would be like if I could hold him one more time. Anyway, I don't think I fell asleep until after 3:00 a.m. At least it's easy to catch up on lost sleep here!

Oh Kimberly I'm so sorry. My mind sometimes wonders how it would be and I just can't even fathom it. You are so strong!
I'm so sorry. And being stuck in a hospital stinks. I need to come visit you. Which hospital are you at? Email me and I'll come visit one of these days. :)
I peeked in on your mom and kids yesterday, and told her to call on me if she needs anything...I really hope she does because I really want to help your sweet family during this time in your lives! I have been thinking about you a lot lately and will be praying for you. Hang in there!

I am very accustomed to spending time in the hospital. In fact, I spend at least 30 hrs. a week in one, but not as a pt. One of my closest colleagues at CSI specializes in OB/NICU so feel free to ask any questions you may have and I'll try to get the answer for you. Of course, you have a battery of nurses at your beck and call to answer questions for you, but sometimes you'd rather not ask them. Anyway, I'm available on FaceBook if you ever want to message me.
