Bread In Five Minutes

I made bread today. And it was SO good. While looking for my recipe, though, I came across this book and wondered if it delivers. I can't imagine spending so little time on homemade bread; it seems wrong somehow. :) I actually have a recipe that doesn't require any kneading; it's great. So, have any of you tried this and what do you think?

hm. i make bread daily and it takes me 3 minutes... but i'm one of those few that have a breadmaker and use it. all the way through the cycle. i don't take it out and bake it seperate.
and i love it. and so does my family.
but i'm interested. i'll see if i can check it out from the library.

Kimberly! I JUST bought this book and have been experimenting with this technique for a couple of months now! It's AMAZING! I love it. If you follow this link you can try out the "master" recipe and give it a test run before you buy the book. http://www.motherearthnews.com/Real-Food/Artisan-Bread-In-Five-Minutes-A-Day.aspx

I tried the loaf, the pizza, and the sticky pecan rolls from the article before I decided the book was a must-have. I just picked it up from my parent's house and have been reading through the book this week since we got back to Germany trying to decide which of the other bread recipes I will try first! I haven't got a pizza stone yet and have just been using an upside-down cookie sheet and parchment paper so far. Let me know if you try it out!
