Fast-forward to tonight. We arranged earlier today for a friend to come over for a little bit tonight so we could go run an errand and have a mini-date. She ended up not being able to come out, so we set the kids up with a movie and started playing again. (This time with a clear floor!) I haven't laughed so hard in a while. I can't say that either of us is particularly skilled with this game, but it didn't matter.

Super easy! The discs act like little trampolines to the balls. (Apparently you can launch them up to 150 feet, but we haven't attempted that!) Then you just play like tennis or badmitten. We made a line down the middle of the floor and out-of-bounds areas.
We think as soon as it warms up it will be fun to try outside!
you guys used to play wall-ball (or whatever it was you called it) in your old house with those HIGH walls...
you two are just so much fun!
also, i WOULD give a great idea for an indoor date that my hubs of loves and i participate in frequently... but it's ... well, why don't i just say it would be distatesful on such a family-friendly blog. ;)

Loved your dishwasher comment! I'm pretty sure I've done that before...I know I've drank out of a dirty glass before! Ah...the joy of losing our minds!
